1.1. This site (the “Site”) is owned by INSTITUT DE RECHERCHES INTERNATIONALES SERVIER, a company with a share capital of 34.590.852 Euro registered with the Trade and Companies registry of Nanterre under number / 085 480 796 whose registered office is located at 50 rue Carnot (92284) Suresnes, France.


The Publication director is Mr Emmanuel CANET.

The Site “https://clinicaltrials.servier.com”  – has been designed and produced by Licorn Publishing, limited liability company registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Registry under number 533 229 266, having its registered office at 101 rue de Sèvre, 75006 Paris, France.

The Site is hosted by GANDI, Joint-stock company registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Registry under number 23 093 459, having its registered office at 63 boulevard Massena 75013 Paris, France.

1.2. The general structure, as well as the software, texts, images, animated or not, know-how, and all other elements making up the Site are the exclusive ownership of INSTITUT DE RECHERCHES INTERNATIONALES SERVIER (hereinafter « SERVIER ») and are protected by the applicable laws on Intellectual Property. As a consequence, any representation, whether in whole or in part, of this Site by any means whatsoever, without SERVIER’s express agreement is forbidden and shall constitute a counterfeiting. The same applies for the databases appearing on the website of which SERVIER is the producer and which are protected by copyright.


SERVIER’s and its partners’ trademarks, as well as the logos appearing on the Site are registered trademarks. Any reproduction, in whole or in part, of these trademarks or logos made from the elements of the Site without SERVIER’s express agreement is therefore forbidden.

2. Information of a technical nature

You, as user of the Site (hereinafter “User(s)”) acknowledge having the skills necessary to access and use this Site, and having checked that the computer configuration used is virus-free and in perfect working order.

You further acknowledge having been informed that the present Site is accessible 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, except in case of force majeure events, computer difficulties, difficulties linked to the telecommunications networks structure or technical difficulties.

SERVIER may interrupt the site for maintenance reasons.

3. Content of the site

SERVIER provides clinical data and scientific information arising out of its clinical studies  information in the field of health or specialized press articles. Such information shall not be assimilated to legal or medical advice.

For a medical advice, you should always consult a physician or pharmacist.

Any information or material provided in the Site is provided “as is”, without any kind of warranty, whether express or implied.


4. Limitation of liability

SERVIER provides Users with information relating to the health domain and the services it proposes in accordance with the legal and regulatory obligations applicable to pharmaceutical companies and in particular the provisions of the French Public Health Code.

SERVIER cannot be held liable for the use made by the User of the information and services proposed on the Site and/or whilst browsing.

It is expressly agreed that SERVIER is subject to a “best efforts” obligation with respect to the execution of the present Terms and the implementation of the Site, including in particular the completeness, quality, and exhaustiveness of the information and services proposed on it and the continuity of access to the Site.

SERVIER cannot be held liable by the User for any direct or indirect damage resulting from browsing the Site, or from the use of or impossibility of using the content, information or services proposed via the Site. Notwithstanding all efforts by SERVIER and its technical service providers, the User is informed that the reliability of the Internet cannot be guaranteed, especially in terms of security of data transmission, continuity of Site access, performance in terms of the volume and speed of data transmission, and virus propagation.

SERVIER will not be held liable for:

  • any inaccuracy or omission in the information provided on the Site;
  • any damage resulting from any intrusion by a third party on the Site resulting in a modification of its content and/or information;
  • any damage resulting from access or impossibility to access the Site, its use (including any damage linked to a virus that might affect your computer system)and/or information provided on the Site.

5. Your obligations as user

5.1. Respect of others  

You have to respect the applicable laws (in particular law regarding privacy and personal data protection). In particular, you shall refrain, with respect to the personal information to which you access, from any distorted collection or use, and generally, from any act likely to damage the privacy, reputation, respect, image or sensitivity of another user or any other person, by avoiding any libellous, provocative, malicious or threatening comment, message or text .

5.2 Hypertext links

The hypertext links set up under this web site to other resources present on the Internet network, and in particular to its partners, have been subject to a prior written express authorization. SERVIER tries to reference only sites in conformity with applicable laws. However, the content of such sites is not under SERVIER’s control and SERVIER shall therefore not be held liable for the information contained on said sites. Users and visitors of the website cannot set up a hyperlink towards this site without LES LABORATOIRES SERVIER’s prior express agreement.

6. Personal data

SERVIER is responsible for the processing, within the meaning of French act no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to Information Technology, Data Files and Civil Liberties (so-called French “Data Protection” act) amended in 2004, of the User’s personal data collected and processed as part of the administration and improvement of the Site (IP address), and in order to answer to (i) your requests regarding access to clinical data (name, surname, title, professional address, email, telephone n° and any other information contained in the form you may fill in to request access to clinical data) or (ii) any other request you may send via the contact form (name, surname, status, email).

These data will be retained for a duration not exceeding 12 months.

The User is informed that his or her personal data are intended for the services and personnel of SERVIER and its affiliated companies responsible for administration of the present Site. Licorn Publishing, in charge of producing the Site, and Gandi, in charge of hosting the Site, may be required to access the personal data of Users for purposes strictly necessary for the performance of their duties.

In accordance with French act no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to Information Technology, Data Files and Civil Liberties (so-called French “Data Protection” act) amended in 2004, the User has the right to access, rectify and delete his or her personal data that is processed under the responsibility of SERVIER. Each of these rights may be exercised by writing to the following address: dataprivacy@servier.com; or by using the contact form available on the Site and through which the User will be invited to complete his name and contact details that will be necessary to address his or her request.

7. Cookies

Definition of Cookies

A cookie is a text file that can be recorded by your browser on the memory of your electronic device (computer, smartphone or tablet) when consulting an online service. It is sent by the server of a website to your browser and each cookie encompasses an anonymous identifier.

When the User consults the Site, different kind of cookies may be installed, subject to the User’s acceptance:

– session cookies, which disappear when the User leaves the Site,

– persistant cookies, which remain on the device until they expire or until the User delete them using the browser’s functionalities,

– statistical cookies, which measures the audience of the Site.

A physical person cannot be identified with a cookie and only the cookie’s issuer can read or change information contained in it.

8. How to exercise your access and correction rights

This Site is governed by the laws of France. Any litigation shall be submitted to the competent courts of Nanterre (France).
